Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, was questioned on the red carpet prior to the NFL Honors game on Thursday night. Jones made a frank remark about how his team’s season ended during the conversation.

Jones began the discussion with interviewer Kevin Frazier by discussing the significance of the fans. Ultimately, it became about how the Cowboys could get better and make it back to the Super Bowl—a venue they haven’t gone to in almost thirty years.

Jones started out by complimenting the work of Dan Quinn, the Washington Commanders’ head coach and former defensive coordinator. Before discussing what would happen next, he also gave a glowing review of Quinn’s impending replacement, Mike Zimmer, who has not yet been announced.
