The last couple of weeks have not been the most comfortable for Red Bull with its Team Principal Christian Horner under an investigation amid allegations made against him.
Red Bull advisor Dr Helmut Marko has reacted to the recent investigation that was launched into peer Christian Horner.
Horner has been at the helm of the Milton Keynes-based squad since its F1 arrival in 2005 and has become one of the most successful Team Principals in the sport’s history.
After the allegations were made, the Briton was questioned for several hours last Friday by an external lawyer.
However, no outcome was finalised following the discussions.
The nature of the allegations is not yet known and Horner will remain as the Team Principal for the time being, attending the launch of the Red Bull RB20.
Marko reserved
When asked by oe24 about the situation, Marko remained tight-lipped.
“I cannot tell you that and I cannot say anything else about it,” Marko said.
“As long as the investigation is ongoing or there is no result, you will not hear from me. It is an ongoing process.
“I hope that we can quickly get the unrest under control.”
Red Bull enters the new season hoping to dominate in similar fashion to last year when it won 21 out of the 22 races staged.
Having held such an advantage over the competition it was able to switch focus onto the RB20 earlier than its rivals and is therefore the favourite heading into the new campaign.
