The 5 Sunderland AFC players expected to leave from June onwards
Several players could leave the Stadium of Light this summer, and we’ve identified five of them.
Young Sunderland players may leave if promotion is not won, which may have an impact on contract negotiations.
Jobe Bellingham, Jack Clarke, Dennis Cirkin, Bradley Dack, and Corry Evans are all prospective departures.
Alex Bass may want a permanent exit, as possibilities at Sunderland appear restricted next season.
Sunderland has a number of rising players who are expected to attract a lot of attention during the summer transfer window.
If the Black Cats do not earn promotion at the conclusion of this season, the possibilities of some of these players leaving will almost certainly grow, since it will weaken their negotiation position.
Jobe Bellingham is one individual who could be on his way when the summer window opens, and the fact that he has an older brother named Jude is likely to pique his curiosity.
The 18-year-old has done well during his first campaign at the Stadium of Light, but it’s also clear that he has plenty to learn.
With this in mind, he may not move on during the next window. Below, we take a look at five players who could make an exit.
Jack Clarke
Along with Bellingham, Clarke has sparked a lot of interest in his signature this season.
This is not surprising given how his time at the SoL has gone thus far.
Since signing permanently from Tottenham Hotspur, the 23-year-old has been one of the first names on the squad sheet and has completely deserved the amount of game time he is receiving.
