Ciara celebrated husband Russell Wilson’s one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday by posting his announcement video on her Instagram story.
After two failed seasons with the Denver Broncos, Wilson was informed that he would be released before free agency. Denver, on the other hand, enabled the former Super Bowl winner to visit with NFL teams from all over the league.
Wilson reportedly met with the Steelers and Giants over the weekend, while the Raiders have also emerged as potential employers. On Sunday, ESPN claimed that Wilson has signed a one-year contract to play in Pittsburgh next season.
After Wilson made his deal official with the video, Ciara reposted it with a line of black and yellow hearts as a caption.
Before finding a new team, Ciara praised Wilson after he was cut by the Broncos. Following the news, Wilson released a statement to thank the organization and fans for his time in Denver.
