BREAKING: Winnipeg Blue Bombers sign former NFL Draft pick to bolster offensive line.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are looking to replace their offensive line by signing former NFL draft pick Larnel Coleman.

With movement to the offensive line, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers have been looking for offensive tackle help. The Bombers found someone who could help when they signed former NFL draft pick Larnel Coleman.

Coleman most recently played for the Birmingham Stallions in the United Football League. He was released by the Stallions during training camp this month after being taken in the UFL Dispersal Draft in January.

The Miami Dolphins selected Coleman in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Injuries sidelined him for the 2021 season before he joined the Carolina Panthers in 2022. He played in only one NFL game.

Coleman was a full-time starter at UMass for the past three seasons, playing both left and right tackle. During the truncated 2020 college football season, he was named to the Outland Trophy Watch List and Phil Steele’s Second Team All-Independent.

After the Bombers lost starting right tackle Jermarcus Hardrick to free agency, Coleman could fill the position in 2024.

Winnipeg’s Week 1 opponent for the 2024 CFL season will be a Grey Cup rematch against the defending champion Montreal Alouettes.
