May 7 (UPI) — Tyler Boyd, a free agency wide receiver, signed to a one-year contract with the Tennessee Titans, he announced on social media Tuesday.
Boyd posted, “Titan up,” on X and Instagram.
The former Cincinnati Bengals player also tweeted a report from NFL Network stating that his one-year contract is worth up to $4.5 million. Boyd, 29, has 667 yards and two touchdowns in 17 games for the Bengals last season.
In 2016, the Bengals selected him in the second round of the NFL Draft. Boyd had exactly 6,000 yards and 31 touchdowns on 413 receptions in his first 120 games. He surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in both 2018 and 2019.
While in Cincinnati, Boyd teamed up with Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to form one of the best wide receiver groups in the NFL. He will now join a Titans wide receiver group that also features DeAndre Hopkins, Calvin Ridley and Treylon Burks.
He also will reunite with former Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, who was hired this off-season as the Titans’ new head coach.
