BREAKING: Jamie Vardy Ruled Out of Leicester City’s Clash Against Chelsea*
Leicester City has been dealt a significant blow as star striker Jamie Vardy has been ruled out of their upcoming Premier League match against Chelsea.
According to sources close to the club, Vardy suffered a minor hamstring strain during training on Friday and will not be fit to feature in Saturday’s match.
“Jamie felt a slight pull in his hamstring during training and, as a precaution, we’ve decided to rule him out of the Chelsea game,” said Leicester City manager, Dean Smith.
Vardy’s absence will be a significant loss for the Foxes, as he has been in excellent form this season, scoring crucial goals for the team.
Leicester City will now have to rely on other attacking options, including Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka, to fill the void left by Vardy’s absence.
The match against Chelsea is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm GMT on Saturday at the King Power Stadium.
