Here is the press release from ClubMX:

Australian Phenom Reid Taylor gets the call to race for ClubMX in the USA

CHESTERFIELD, SC – December 21, 2024: Reid Taylor recently completed a successful campaign in Australia at the AUSX Open and World Supercross and considered his season to be over for the moment. His performance did not go unnoticed, so when ClubMX wanted to fill in for the injured Devin Simonson, Taylor got the call. He has spent a fair amount of time training at ClubMX in the past where he established his relationship with the team. Like many other racers from across the globe, his desire to race in the United States has been a dream. With this recent development, his dream now becomes a reality as he packs his bags and heads to South Carolina next week.
Taylor started riding at a young age and fell in love with the sport. Once he developed the skills to race at the pro level in motocross, he set his sights on bigger goals to race in the U.S. Knowing his pathway to America would include Supercross, Taylor focused on that aspect of the sport and devoted his time and effort training as such. He later became the 2023 Australian Junior Supercross Champion and repeated the feat in 2024 with the Indian Supercross Championship. At twenty-one years old, Taylor is ready to take on the challenge.

Taylor said: “I am truly grateful for the opportunity to join ClubMX for the AMA Eastern Regional Championship. I’m excited to work with the world class team and train again at such an industry- leading facility alongside some of the best riders and coaches in the world. I look forward to learning from everyone, working together, and growing as a rider in 2025”.

ClubMX Owner Brandon Hass added: “When Reid was training here last year, we could see some level of talent as he adapted to our supercross tracks. Watching him in Australia this year, we could see he has really developed into a good racer. We have some time to work with him before we get to Tampa and we will be spending that time wisely.”
Additionally, Taylor’s attitude and work ethic will fit right in with the rest of the team. Joining names like Vohland, Schock, Reynolds, Fineis and Simonson – it could be a bit intimidating to jump into this new environment, but when you have the support of the entire country of Australia, the transition will be easy.
