Haiden Deegan explains why he is racing West coast
The hype is always big at A1 but with the news Haiden Deegan will be making his West coast debut there as he searches for his first 250 supercross title, the star power just got increased.
Deegan is HUGE in the States, the fan que for the teenager is as big as it is for Jett Lawrence and Eli Tomac before Haiden has even went to the premier class – now the epicentre of supercross will have Deegan adding to the hype. Perfect.
Deegan, once again not lacking confidence, said in his latest YouTube video:
“I like the Anaheim stadium, it’s big, that place gets the adrenalin pumping. I work the best under pressure and I feel like the biggest pressure race is A1. Anytime I have had pressure I have rode my best. I’m just ready to go, I just want to race and win, that’s all I care about. Whoever wants to come second, chill.
Deegan continued:
“It’s weird because a lot of these guys have been riding for a long time and I get right out here (after wrist surgery), I work hard and I’m pretty talented on a dirt bike so I can pick it up pretty quick…I came off a broken wrist and won the second round of supercross (2024).
The question really is, who can stop Haiden Deegan on the West coast and who even believes they can beat him – Levi Kitchen?
