Nick Saban sends real message to Ohio State fans on national TV regarding how Buckeye HC Ryan Day has been treated.

At Ohio State, there are always the same couple of expectations year in and year out for the football team. The Buckeyes are expected to beat Michigan and compete for a National Championship.

Beating Michigan has been a real problem for Ryan Day, and after losing to the Wolverines for a fourth straight time, many fans are unhappy with him. The difference is  this season is one that Ohio State still has a lot to play for. The Buckeyes

On ESPN’s College GameDay on Friday night, former Alabama head coach Nick Saban showed his support of Day. Even pointing to the negative stuff from fans saying it needs to stop.

“They have an opportunity to win the national championship,” Saban said. “Everybody should be supporting the hell out of them so that they have the best opportunity to do it and quit all this negative bulls***.”

Saban knows a thing or two about winning it all and everything that comes with it. The legendary coach has seven National Championships on his resume. Day has been to the CFP twice as the head coach in Columbus. If Marvin Harrison Jr. wasn’t hurt in 2022, the Buckeyes may have a more recent National Championship than 2014.

There has been plenty of negative energy around Day and about the program since the disappointing loss to a Michigan team that wasn’t so good this year. Saban believes that players just have to about

“I used to tell the players all the time: Why do you care about what some guy puts on the internet who is a fat guy in his underwear living in his mother’s basement? Why do you care? Why does that mean anything to you? Why does that affect you in any way shape or form?” Saban explained. “We should be focused on what we control and what we can do.”

It is the same thing for the fans. I would tell the fans the same thing: If Ohio State wants to beat Michigan, they need to be positive about their coach and the players. There is nobody who wants to beat them worse than the players and the coaches.”
