4-Star QB Commit Set to Return to Clemson

One of Clemson’s top commits in the 2026 recruiting class is set to return to campus in January.

4-star QB Tait Reynolds (Queen Creek, AZ) told The Clemson Insider that he plans to attend the annual Elite Retreat on January 25.

Reynolds has been committed to Clemson since July after nabbing an offer from the Tigers after an impressive showing at camp a month earlier.

“It was different out there,” Reynolds told TCI in a previous interview. “It was a different feel. Coach Riley and coach Swinney are just awesome. Two of the best coaches I’ve been around. It was really awesome working with them and learning from them, and I just knew that was the place I wanted to be.”

After a stellar junior campaign, Reynolds was tabbed as the Player of the Year in the state of Arizona by the Arizona Cardinals. He completed 62% of his passes for 2,238 yards with 22 touchdowns to just five interceptions. He added another 1,426 yards via his legs with 19 touchdown runs. Reynolds averaged more than 100 rushing yards per game.

ESPN ranks Reynolds No. 225 overall, No. 5 among all quarterbacks and No. 1 in his state.
