Dungey secured the 450SX DAYTONA Supercross Main Event victory in 2015.

**DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 27, 2025)** – Daytona International Speedway has announced that Ryan Dungey, a four-time Monster Energy AMA Supercross champion, will serve as the Grand Marshal for the 2025 DAYTONA Supercross. Dungey claimed victory in the 450SX DAYTONA Supercross Main Event in 2015.

“We are thrilled to have Ryan Dungey return to Daytona International Speedway as the Grand Marshal for the 55th edition of the DAYTONA Supercross,” said Frank Kelleher, President of Daytona International Speedway. “Ryan’s remarkable legacy and career in Supercross, highlighted by his unforgettable win here in 2015, makes him the ideal choice to help kick off this significant event. His dedication and excellence on the track continue to motivate both riders and fans, and we’re certain he’ll energize the crowd this Saturday.”

Dungey’s illustrious career includes 90 combined Supercross and Pro Motocross victories across both classes, placing him fifth on the all-time wins list. He ranks second in 450 Pro Motocross overall wins with 39, trailing only Ricky Carmichael. Additionally, Dungey holds the seventh spot for all-time 450 Supercross race wins with 34 and boasts a record of 31 consecutive podium finishes in Supercross.

“I’m really excited to be the Grand Marshal for the 2025 Daytona Supercross,” Dungey said. “Daytona has always been one of my favorite races because of its unique track layout, location, and the challenging riding conditions. I’m looking forward to watching some exciting racing this year.”

Throughout his career, Dungey won seven Premier Class AMA championships and triumphed three times at the Motocross des Nations, the world’s largest international motocross event. He was awarded two ESPY honors as Best Male Action Sports Athlete in 2015 and 2016 and made history as the first motocross rider to appear on the Wheaties cereal box.

The 55th annual DAYTONA Supercross will take place on March 1, 2025, with riders navigating Carmichael’s course under the lights at Daytona International Speedway, part of the 84th Annual Bike Week At DAYTONA.

Bike Week, a ten-day motorcycle celebration, begins on February 28 and continues through March 9. This event will feature high-speed racing, including the DAYTONA 200 from March 6-8 and the DAYTONA Short Track on March 6-7.
