Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy and Head Coach Michael Maguire addressed the charities, welcoming them to the Broncos family and outlining the club’s entrenched commitment to giving back to the community.
I find it really apt that we get to come into this building, the Clive Berghofer Centre each and every day, and be reminded of Clive’s unwavering support of Queensland community groups that has amassed more than $130M to date,” Donaghy said.
It’s that sort of passion and inspiration that continues to drive us at the Brisbane Broncos, and I hope one day we’re talking about having given those amounts of money back into the community.

We are really proud of this Program and know the difference it makes to the lives of so many Queenslanders in need.

After raising a record $900,000 in 2024 through the well-established 50-50 raffles on Broncos gamedays, the club is aiming to raise over $1M this season.

More than $3M has been raised since the Charity Partner Program’s inception in 2007.
NRL Head Coach Michael Maguire said, “I’m a big believer that what we do off the field and away from footy, is just as important, if not more than what we do on the paddock.

I’m in awe of the work all of you do day in, day out.

There are people going through more in life than we could ever imagine, and that’s something that I have always instilled in my players – to think about something bigger than themselves.

“I’m really looking forward to working our Charity Partners and making them feel very much a part of everything we do.”
