Archie Manning: Ole Miss football legend through the years: Father of Eli, Peyton, grandfather of Arch

Manning was born in Drew, Miss., in 1949. His No.18 was the first of only four Ole Miss Jersey’s ever retired and he was drafted second overall in the 1971 NFL draft. He played most of his 14 years in the NFL with the Saints and twice made the Pro Bowl. He’s received many accolades and is well known for his philanthropic work.
