The Oregon Ducks have secured their first running back commitment from the Class of 2025. Dierre Hill, a four-star prospect from Althoff Catholic in Belleville, Illinois, announced his commitment to Oregon football on Friday.
Hill choose the Ducks over Ole Miss, Illinois, Ohio State, and Missouri.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound running back made a visit to Eugene this month. Hill accumulated over 1,700 yards and 26 touchdowns during his junior year of high school.
The Ducks have six other commitments from the Class of 2025 so far: four-star linebacker Nasir Wyatt (CA); four-star wide receivers Dallas Wilson (FL), Isaiah Mozee (MO), and Cooper Perry (AZ); four-star quarterback Akili Smith, Jr. (CA); and four-star edge rusher Matthew Johnson (CA).
