Breaking news:This October, the City of Burnsville offers three ways to celebrate Halloween.

BURNSVILLE, MINNESOTA – Burnsville is getting ready for a spooky Halloween season, with three family-friendly activities that promise fun for all ages and even canine companions! From trick-or-treating in the park to a canine costume contest, there’s something for everyone.

Kick off your Halloween celebrations with the annual Halloween Fest at Nicollet Commons Park. This festive event invites families to experience a lighted trick-or-treat trail where local businesses and organizations will hand out candy and small goodies. Attendees can enjoy DJ entertainment by Kids Dance, roaming performers, and plenty of Halloween-themed fun. Costumes are encouraged, so be sure to dress your best! Thank you to the event’s sponsors, Just Between Friends and the Burnsville Lions Club, for helping make this night magical.

Halloween isn’t just for humans—bring your four-legged pals to the Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest at Alimagnet Dog Park! Hosted by PACK (People of Alimagnet Caring for K9s), this event is free to attend and includes prizes for the best dog costumes, along with a fall-themed photo booth. It’s a great way to celebrate the spooky season with your pup. No registration is required, but make sure your dog is friendly, vaccinated, and on a leash.

End your Halloween weekend with a cool spin at the Burnsville Ice Center’s Halloween Skate Party. Families are invited to enjoy open skating, trick-or-treating, and chances to win prizes in a fun, festive atmosphere. Costumes are encouraged, and skate rentals are available for just $5.

No matter how you choose to celebrate, Burnsville has a Halloween event for everyone this October!
