It is not an exaggeration to suggest that many Pittsburgh Steelers supporters are enthusiastic about the prospect of having Justin Fields restart his career with the organisation. While his career with the Chicago Bears did not go as planned, he now has the opportunity to rehabilitate his legacy by helping the Steelers return to the Super Bowl.
Fields’ arrival to Pittsburgh may appear to be a daylight robbery if one does not consider what the Ohio State product thought about the transfer. However, when it became evident that his time in the Windy City was nearing to an end, he stated unequivocally that he wanted to be a Steeler.

According to Andrew Holleran of The Spun, the former lottery pick could have gone to any other team, but he chose to stay in Pittsburgh.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Steelers had interest from four other teams, but Fields and his attorneys requested that he not be sent there.
“Important note on the Justin Fields trade: At least four other clubs enquired about trading for Fields, but Fields’ representatives requested that he not be traded there. “He wanted the #Steelers, and the #Bears delivered,” Rapoport reported.
It’s a great sign for the Pittsburgh Steelers that a young QB chose them as his destination to rebuild their career. It was obvious last season that the team already had a strong roster, but they lacked a proper QB that could make the right pass.
Now that Fields and Russell Wilson are now Steelers, it’s not hard to imagine the team making a deep playoff run in 2024.

The biggest concern around Fields right now is whether he has the talent to overtake Wilson, an established quarterback.
He was a mixed bag for Bears fans last year. In 13 games, he passed for 2562 yards, 16 touchdowns, nine interceptions, and a completion rate of 61.4%. Wilson had significantly better numbers, with 3070 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
However, if Mr. Unlimited fails to meet expectations, Mike Tomlin may hand over control of the offence to Fields.
