Darwin Nunez was instrumental in Liverpool’s comeback against Fulham in the Carabao Cup semi-final, even though he did not score. Speaking on Sky Sports immediately following the match, former Reds captain Jamie Redknapp praised Nunez for his noteworthy effect.
Darwin Nunez, 24, helped set up both of Liverpool’s goals as the game came to a close. Especially the second assist, which was a flawless pullback that made Cody Gakpo’s finish simple, was excellent.
