Five-star Vols quarterback commit returns to Tennessee with…

Five-star Tennessee quarterback commitment George MacIntyre plans to return to Knoxville soon with a five-star Vols target.

George MacIntyre, a five-star Tennessee quarterback commit from Brentwood (Tenn.) Academy, expects to return to Knoxville this weekend for a two-day visit with the Vols, which will include seeing their first spring practice. He expects to be joined by an outstanding wide receiver who is one of Tennessee’s top targets for the position.

MacIntyre informed GoVols247 that he plans to visit Tennessee on Sunday and Monday. He announced Thursday afternoon on his X account that five-star Class of 2025 wide receiver Jaime Ffrench, a former Alabama commitment from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Fla., will also attend.

“Back in Knoxville this week,” MacIntyre posted. “Special visitor will be there also @jaimeffrenchjr.”

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Ffrench has been planning to visit Tennessee for the first time this spring. He told 247Sports’ Tom Loy last month that the Vols were scheduled to host him on April 8.

Ffrench returned from a visit to LSU last weekend. Following the visit, he informed 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong that he has “set an official visit (to LSU) for the first weekend in May.”

On the 247Sports Crystal Ball, Ohio State received two predictions for Ffrench. Both predictions were made since last week, with the most recent coming from 247Sports’ Tom Loy on Wednesday.

Ffrench is a five-star prospect in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, where he’s ranked the No. 16 overall prospect and the No. 3 wide receiver in the 2025 class and the No. 3 junior from the state of Florida. According to 247Sports, he’s a four-star prospect who’s ranked the No. 30 overall player and No. 4 wide receiver in the 2025 class.
