Kevin Zeitler to Sign One-Year Contract with the Detroit Lions.

Cincinnati — Kevin Zeitler, a former Bengals first round pick, is poised to sign a one-year contract with the Lions, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Zeitler spent the first five seasons of his career with Cincinnati, who selected him with the 27th overall choice in the 2012 NFL draft. He spent two seasons in Cleveland, two in New York (Giants), and the last three in Baltimore.

Now Zeitler will replace Jonah Jackson at right guard in Detroit. The 34-year-old made the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career last season. He’ll join former Bengals defensive tackle DJ Reader on the Lions.
