“Gave it to f*cking golden boy, son of a b*tch”: Ryan Blaney reacts to Kyle Larson’s Brickyard 400 win.

Ryan Blaney was fuming on his team radio during the final few laps of the Brickyard 400. The Cup champion was in an intense three-way battle for the win against Kyle Larson and Brad Keselowski. However, after Kyle Busch collided and a caution was thrown, Keselowski finally ran out of fuel and pitted, giving Larson the chance to restart right next to Blaney.

Ryan Blaney was furious at NASCAR’s decision to show the green flag and continue the race. He complained on his radio:

There’s no way they should’ve let that go green. That’s ridiculous. They just GAVE it to him (Kyle Larson). It’s f*cking over, I’m on the top. I ain’t gonna win from the top. Gave it to f*cking golden boy. Son of a b*tch.”

Larson eventually won the Crown Jewel race after overtaking Blaney in Overtime and winning the race under the white flag. This is Kyle Larson’s first-ever win at Indy. It’ll also help him to put behind the disappointment of not being able to complete the Double a few weeks ago.

Ryan Blaney takes a sarcastic jibe post-race at Brad Keselowski for “gifting” Kyle Larson the win

Penske’s Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney was far from happy after the Brickyard 400. He took a sarcastic jibe at the #6 team after they left it too late with their decision to put amidst running out of fuel.

Blaney said in his post-race interview:

“We saved gas initially, then we had a caution, the 6 knew they weren’t gonna make it and I got screwed on the lineup and they gifted it to the 5, so I’m happy that it worked out for them.”

Blaney eventually finished the race in third place behind Kyle Larson and Tyler Reddick. While Blaney missed the chance to win consecutive races, Larson won his fourth race of the season.
