The Georgia Bulldogs are hungry for another national title. They came up short last year, losing to their archrival Alabama. Kirby Smart, the head coach, has brought in another top recruiting class and snagged some key components through the transfer portal. Trevor Etienne, a running back, has run into some trouble. He was nabbed early this morning on four minor driving offenses.

Etienne is the brother of Travis Etienne, a Jacksonville Jaguars running back. He played for the Florida Gators last year but was one of many athletes that left the program. The great running back has decided on the Bulldogs. On Sunday morning, he was arrested on four counts: driving under the influence of alcohol, dangerous driving, failing to keep lane, and affixing objects that restrict visibility from windows and/or windshield. He posted bail and was freed one hour later.

How much does this affect the Bulldogs? This team has plenty of talent and a coach with a track record of success. There is also no word on what type of punishment Etienne will receive from either the team or the conference. However, whatever happens, the Bulldogs will have plenty of talent to make a run in the SEC. Texas and Oklahoma joined the SEC, making it tougher for them to win the conference.
The Georgia Bulldogs will be in the mix for a national championship in 2024. We will have to wait and see how the Trevor Etienne situation unfolds.
