“Good luck, old man,” says Kyle Larson as he picks his winner in the Nashville Truck race.

Kyle Larson has chosen Clint Bowyer as his preferred choice for the upcoming Rackley Roofing 200 Truck event at Nashville Superspeedway. He added that as Bowyer frequently chose him as the favorite on Sundays, it was only appropriate to reciprocate this time.

Clint Bowyer, who retired from full-time racing at the end of the 2020 NASCAR season, will return to truck racing, where he has not competed since 2016. He previously raced the #24 Truck for GMS Racing in the Heart of America 200 at Kansas, finishing fifth.

Fox recently wrapped up its half of the 2024 Cup Series coverage at Sonoma Raceway, and now that he is free of his commentator duties, Clint Bowyer is ready to return to the racing fray, just as Kevin Harvick is preparing to compete at Five Flags Speedway.

Bowyer will drive the #7 Chevrolet Silverado for Spire Motorsports. The truck, which has been driven by a variety of drivers this season, is presently fifth in owner points and won races with Kyle Busch in Atlanta and Texas earlier this year.

Kyle Larson, placing his bet on the former Cup Series contender who recently qualified P11, showed his support on his official X handle writing:

“Since I’m obviously @ClintBowyer favorite on Sundays I’m going to have to pick him tonight at @NashvilleSuperS @NASCAR_Trucks . Good luck old man!”
