Green Brigade has reached a new deal with celtic ahead of the granger scottish cup final.

A gathering and march are planned prior of the Hampden clash.

The Green Brigade has urged Celtic fans to wear their hoops and march to Hampden for the Scottish Cup final. The Hoops face Rangers on Saturday, looking to pour further misery on them after pipping them to the Premiership title, which they have made the most of with lots of partying since winning over Kilmarnock last Wednesday.

They intend to celebrate again on Saturday evening, but will be out in force hours before the game.

The group have invited fellow supporters to gather at Glasgow Green on Saturday before then starting a procession along to the national stadium. Along with fellow ultras Bhoys Celtic, they did the same last year before the final victory over Inverness and police escorted the corteo to Hampden.

Thousands gathered at the Saltmarket for what was branded ‘Tims in the Park’ before marching towards the national stadium two hours before kick off and that appears to be the plan again. The Green Brigade have put out a promotional video and are urging fellow supporters to “Wear the Hoops to Hampden.” for ‘Tims in the Park 2’.

It will come just a week after fans descended on Trongate for a city centre party on the day their team was awarded the Premiership trophy, with street closures forced and flares and fireworks let off.

Brendan Rodgers is aiming for a league and cup double in his first season back at the club after being knocked out of the League Cup early on. Rangers won that meaning they are also in the hunt for a double.
