key changes to be made after Novak Djokovic snubbed

Wimbledon has just three days left, but Friday’s men’s semi-finals are a must-see, with two high-profile matchups. Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, and Lorenzo Musetti all compete for a spot in Sunday’s final.

Djokovic might face Alcaraz in a rematch of last year’s final, which he lost in an epic five-setter. The Serbian great faces Musetti in his first Grand Slam semi-final, after Djokovic received a walkover to the final four owing to Alex De Minaur’s injury.

Medvedev played top seed Jannik Sinner and will attempt to defeat the reigning champion in the day’s opening encounter on Centre Court.

The Russian faces a rematch of last year’s semi-final against Alcaraz, which he lost, but revenge will be a powerful motivation, along with the prize of a spot in the final against either Djokovic or Musetti.

Djokovic hasn’t played since he retaliated against the crowd for allegedly jeering him after a straight-sets victory against Holger Rune, and it’s unclear how fans would respond after booing his name during Musetti’s on-court interview.
