NASCAR bumps up the start time for Sunday’s Cup race in New Hampshire due to..

NASCAR has announced that Sunday’s Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway has been moved up by around 30 minutes owing to the weather.

The green flag is now slated to fly at 2:06 p.m. ET on Sunday.

The race will be aired by the USA Network.

The Weather Underground forecast calls for a high of 77 degrees and a 15% chance of scattered thunderstorms at the start of the race.

Cup qualifying was canceled Saturday due to rain. Cup teams got less than five minutes of practice Saturday before rain returned. Chase Elliott will start on the pole for Sunday’s race.
