The Vikings decided to acquire RB Cam Akers after they were having trouble running the ball in the first half of the regular season.

Sadly, the experiment would not last long. Akers would miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn Achilles injury during Minnesota’s Week 9 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons.

Will the Vikings sign RB Cam Akers this offseason? is the question posed by a well-known Instagram account with a Vikings theme, Vikes Verified. Akers, who is still only 24 years old, displayed explosiveness in a small part this season. It seems that Cam is recovering much more quickly than expected after rupturing his Achilles tendon, which is not surprising considering that he RETURNED in just six months for the Rams’ 2021–2022 playoff run. Not only did he return, but he also contributed significantly to that winning squad. In 2024, would you bring Akers back?
