Providence Friars suspended a player indefinitely and filed charges for domestic violence.

Alyn Breed of Providence has been suspended indefinitely due to firearm and domestic violence charges.

The Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office announced that the suspended Providence College basketball player accused with domestic abuse has been discharged from court.

According to court documents, Alyn Breed, 21, was dismissed because the court did not have enough evidence to proceed with criminal charges. The complainant’s lack of cooperation was also noted in the Providence County District Court filings as a reason for dismissal.
