REPORT: Pittsburgh Steelers’ star player explains why he wants to declare for the NBA Draft 2024

Former Pittsburgh Steelers player Antonio Brown discusses why Caitlin Clark should declare for the 2024 NBA Draft.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown explained why Iowa Hawkeyes sensation Caitlin Clark should declare for the 2024 NBA Draft. The NBA is apparently aiming to get Caitlin Clark to the league for the 2024-25 season.

Caitlin Clark is predicted to be the top pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

Clark is predicted to be the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft. She will turn professional once Iowa finishes its Final Four run this weekend. Clark’s skills on the court have drawn a lot of attention to women’s basketball and the sport in general. Brown has previously commented on Clark’s physical looks, comparing her to actor Mel Gibson.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers star has a suggestion for the NBA.

Following Iowa’s Elite Eight victory over LSU, Brown was able to focus on Clark’s basketball career. Brown stated on his X account that Clark should go to the NBA this summer because most college pundits believe this year’s draft class is weak.

“They saying this the worst NBA draft ever so go ahead and draft Caitlin Clark and see what he can do,” Brown wrote in a blog post.

Clark has no plans to join the NBA.unless

This comment, like many of Brown’s, is not grounded in reality. Sorry, CTESPN.

There is no chance an NBA team will select Clark this summer. It would be interesting to watch how she would battle against NBA players, but the only way she will do so is in an exhibition contest.

While Clark will not be in an NBA team’s rotation next season, she may have the opportunity to play against NBA talent. The NBA is considering having Clark participate against Steph Curry and Klay Thompson in the three-point contest at next season’s All-Star Weekend.
