Roman Kemp made a subtle dig at Red Bull Racing’s Christian Horner while hosting the Brit Awards.
Last month, Horner, who is married to former Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell, was accused of inappropriate behavior against a female colleague.
Horner vigorously refuted the charges and was placed under investigation by the corporation. After an almost 10-hour interrogation with an external counsel, he was exonerated of any wrongdoing.
Red Bull acknowledged that “the grievance has been dismissed” and claimed that the company was convinced that “the investigation has been fair, rigorous, and impartial”. The coworker has the opportunity to appeal.
“The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned,” the business said in a statement.
Kemp, 31, appeared to mention the incident when hosting the annual music awards presentation with Maya Jama and Clara Amfo yesterday night (2 March).
Halliwell, who has been married to Horner since 2015, was pictured standing in solidarity with her husband during an appearance at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Yesterday, the couple arrived at the Paddock holding hands, smiling and conversing together. Horner subsequently stated that the week had been “testing”, telling reporters, “It’s been very testing for my family, but we are very strong as a family, and our focus is on this race.”
Halliwell and Horner have a seven-year-old son, Montague George Hector, while the pop icon has a 17-year-old daughter, Bluebell, from a previous relationship with filmmaker Sacha Gervasi.
