A.J. Brown, an Eagles wide receiver, missed practice on Friday for the second time in a row due to a knee injury he sustained against the Giants in Week 18.

The Eagles play a win-or-go-home playoff game in Tampa on Monday, but it is now obvious that Brown’s health is in doubt.

During the first two practices of this week, Brown, 26, was not even visible as a spectator on the field. With 106 receptions for 1,456 yards and 7 touchdowns in 2023, the Pro Bowler had yet another fantastic campaign. In the absence of Brown, the Eagles’ receiving options in the wild card round would have been DeVonta Smith, Julio Jones, Quez Watkins, Olamide Zaccheaus, and Britain Covey. This week, the Eagles will have one more practice on Saturday.

The Eagles were without starting safety Reed Blankenship (groin) in addition to Brown. Blankenship spent some time on a side field on Friday working with a trainer.
