Scorpions announce 2025 Las Vegas residency to celebrate 60th anniversary “We gonna sting yaaaa!!!”

Legendary German rock band **Scorpions** have announced a 2025 Las Vegas residency to celebrate their 60th anniversary as one of the most iconic names in rock history. Titled *”We Gonna Sting Ya!!!”*, the residency promises to be a high-energy showcase of their greatest hits and timeless rock anthems, bringing their signature blend of hard rock and power ballads to the Entertainment Capital of the World.

Starting in the spring of 2025, the residency will take place at the newly renovated Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood, one of Las Vegas’s premier venues. Fans can expect an immersive concert experience featuring cutting-edge production, elaborate visuals, and a setlist packed with classics such as “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” “Wind of Change,” “No One Like You,” and “Still Loving You.” In true Scorpions style, the show will also include deep cuts and surprises from their extensive 19-album discography.

Lead vocalist Klaus Meine expressed excitement about the milestone event:
*”It’s unbelievable that we’ve been rocking for 60 years! This residency is a way for us to thank our fans who’ve supported us all these decades. Las Vegas is the perfect place to celebrate — let’s make it unforgettable!”*

The band, formed in Hanover, Germany, in 1965, initially gained traction in the 1970s with albums like *In Trance* and *Virgin Killer*, becoming one of the pioneers of hard rock and heavy metal. Their international breakthrough came in the 1980s with albums like *Blackout* and *Love at First Sting*, cementing their place in rock history. By the time the Cold War ended, the Scorpions had become cultural icons, their power ballad “Wind of Change” serving as an anthem of hope and unity during the fall of the Berlin Wall.

While many bands slow down after decades of touring, the Scorpions have continued to thrive, touring globally and releasing new material well into the 21st century. Their Las Vegas residency marks a new chapter in their storied career, blending nostalgia with their enduring love for live performance.

Drummer Mikkey Dee, who joined the band in 2016, teased that fans can expect a truly epic show:
*”We’re pulling out all the stops for this residency. It’s going to be loud, it’s going to be wild, and we’re going to give the fans a rock ‘n’ roll party they’ll never forget!”*

Tickets for the residency go on sale in early December 2024, with special VIP packages offering meet-and-greet opportunities, exclusive merchandise, and premium seating. Fans are encouraged to act quickly, as demand is expected to be high for this once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

The Scorpions’ longevity in the music industry is a testament to their talent, resilience, and ability to connect with audiences across generations. Whether you’ve been a fan since their early days or discovered their music more recently, the *”We Gonna Sting Ya!!!”* residency is set to be a rock spectacle that captures the essence of the band’s six-decade journey.

Las Vegas is no stranger to hosting legends, but with the Scorpions in town, 2025 will truly belong to the Rock You Like a Hurricane icons. Get ready to be stung!
