Timbers reveal 2024 preseason training camp roster.

Portland, Oregon – The Portland Timbers unveiled its 2024 training camp roster today as part of their preseason, which is provided by Old Trapper Beef Jerky.

The Timbers will travel to Phoenix, Arizona, from January 24 to 31. Portland will play a friendly preseason encounter against Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Phoenix Rising FC Soccer Complex, with a kickoff time of 12pm PT. The contest will be accessible to the public, and tickets are available.

Portland will continue the preseason at the 2024 Coachella Valley Invitational from Feb. 6 – 17 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., alongside 11 other MLS teams. The Timbers will open their tournament account against New York City FC on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 1 p.m. (Pacific). Next up, Portland will play a midweek match against the San Jose Earthquakes on Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. (Pacific) before closing out the tournament with a Saturday, Feb. 17, match against Chicago Fire FC at 12 p.m. (Pacific). The roster includes the current 25-player first team, three players from Timbers2, one player selected in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft and two trialists.

 

Portland will open the 2024 MLS season on Saturday, Feb. 24, at Providence Park vs. Colorado Rapids (7:30pm PT, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV)
