“To Try To Get Better As Quickly As Possible” Art Rooney II, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ owner, outlines his team’s strategy for the next NFL season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have made significant changes to their organization and will embark on the next NFL season with additional alterations, hoping that these improvements would help the team advance in the season.

Russell Wilson, a Super Bowl veteran, has been signed, with Justin Fields serving as the other quarterback. They’ve traded Kenny Pickett to the Philadelphia Eagles. They’ve also added linebacker Patrick Queen, cornerback Donte Johnson, and safety DeShon Elliot.

The owners of the Steelers, Art Rooney II, has recently shared the upcoming plans of the squad, indicating that their vision is to get better in a timely manner.

According to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Rooney shared, “I think every year we try and figure out how do we get better and how do we get better as quickly as possible. That’s really the bottom line, to try to get better as quickly as possible.”

The owner believes that with the acquisition of the offensive coordinator, Arthur Smith, and other prospects, the squad is in a good position. Regarding the upcoming draft, Rooney shared, “The draft is the next priority and we’ve got to do a good job with the draft.”

The owner is also eager to end the Steelers’ playoff drought, as the last playoff game they won was in 2016. According to ESPN, the owner had previously stated, “We’ve had enough of this. It’s time to acquire some wins and take the next stage.”
