Rafael Castro, a sophomore forward at Providence College, has joined the transfer portal.
He is the third friar to leave Kim English’s programme.
He averaged 2.8 points and 2.4 rebounds each game.
Castro averaged 65% from the pitch this season. He served primarily as Josh Oduro’s backup.
Garwey Dual has previously announced their departure. He went through the NCAA transfer portal last week.
Dual is one of the highest-ranked Providence College recruits in the program’s history — he was ranked No. 47 overall recruit in the 2023 recruiting class.
Also intending to leave is freshman Donovan Santoro, who played limited minutes this year.
